Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does “buying direct from the developer” mean?

Buying direct means you purchase property straight from the builder or developer without

paying extra commissions or agent fees. This ensures you access exclusive deals, transparent pricing, and properties that may not even reach the open market.

  • Off the Plan: You secure a property before it is built or completed, often at today’s prices. This can mean potential savings and more choice of lots or designs.
  • Ready to Move In: These homes are fully built and available now. You can inspect them, settle quickly, and move in without waiting for construction.

With DDD, you deal directly with the builder or developer. This means:

  • No middle-man costs
  • Transparent communication
  • Exclusive access to developments and incentives only available to direct buyers

Your deposit is never held by us. It is paid directly into the lawyer’s trust account, where it is kept safe and secure until settlement, in line with legal requirements.

Buying off the plan does carry considerations such as build time and potential changes in market conditions. At DDD, we only partner with reputable and trusted builders who have a proven track record of delivering quality projects over time. We also provide clear contract information and guide you through every stage to help minimise risks.

Securing a lot is simple — once you’ve chosen your preferred block, you sign an Expression of Interest (EOI) and pay a holding deposit. This locks in your lot for the appropriate selected period while contracts are prepared by the solicitor.

All developments sold through DDD are with trusted builder partners who have already designed, costed, and approved home packages for the estate. This ensures quality, pricing certainty, and smooth approvals. In some cases, you may be able to use your own builder, depending on the development’s guidelines.
